Who We Are
LAURA BAXTER - DIRECTOR
Lead to Exceed is a consultancy business focusing on the development of Community Sport to enhance the sustainability through in-depth engagement and service provision for sports clubs, regional & national bodies. The company was set up by Laura Baxter who identified a need for this specific in-depth support and expertise.
Laura's knowledge and experience has provided the opportunity to work in a number of countries internationally including the UK, USA and New Zealand.
Laura has been a full time professional in the Sports Development industry for 14 years where she has had strong positive and successful impact through positions such as Sport Capability Lead, National Project Officer, Sports Development Officer, Community Sport Advisor and Active Schools Co-ordinator.
On top of being a full time professional in the industry Laura has held numerous coaching positions which has allowed her to work at community grassroots to elite performer level. Laura's coaching credentials have seen her work within the New Zealand National Women's League and Women's Premier League, Special Olympics movement with Great Britain and New Zealand, Dundee United FC and Dundee FC Youth Academies as well as teams from U9 to U16 state champions in the USA.
Laura's family are her biggest priority and inspiration. After getting married to her husband Stevie in 2010 they welcomed their daughter Mia in to the world in Auckland, New Zealand in 2015.
Laura provides an innovative and modern approach when servicing each community organisation that results in delivering a tailored and specific strategy to address your identified needs.
